Do You Waffle?

“When your values are clear to you, making decisions becomes easier.” ~ Roy E. Disney

Waffles taste best hot and crispy, right out of the griddle. Once they sit and get cold, which takes only a few minutes, they become soggy and lose their flavor. Decision-making can be like that – the longer we sit with information without acting on it, the more quickly it loses it’s heat.

The best way to get good at making decisions is to make them, act on them, and determine if the decision was a good one or a bad one. We can weigh the pros and cons until the cows come home – there will always be an outcome of a decision. It’s how we work with the outcomes that matter.

Avoid waffling. Practice acting while things are hot. Use core values and beliefs to guide the decision, because if we trust what we believe then we already know the answer.

Make it a strong day!
