It would be so awesome if life had dome mirrors, allowing us to see just enough around the corner to ready ourselves for what’s coming. If we did know, what would we do differently? Live today better than we did yesterday? Visit a family member? Call an old friend? Do something spontaneous?
What I realized this morning at 4:50, as the sun was already illuminating the horizon, is that we DO have a dome mirror. The sun coming up is an obvious sign about what’s to come – another day! Another chance to make a difference! Another turn in the road – no day is the same. That is what we must remember. We can see it coming – what will you do with it? How will you greet what’s around the corner?
