Choose to focus your time, energy, and conversation around people who inspire you, support you, and help you to grow into your happiest, strongest, wisest self. ~ Karen Salmansohn
We all commit to things, as part of our personal and professional lives, that require a lot of our time for no immediate return on investment. Attending meetings, reviewing manuscripts, sitting on committees – you know what you do. At least one of these commitments is sucking the life out of you. The organization. The monthly meeting. The group that you agreed to help out…once…3 years ago…that you still help today.
Our schedules are indicative of our self-worth. If we are feeling like we’re not enough, then we’re more likely to continue to do things so we can talk about all the things we do! Enough already. Take a deep breath and let go of one responsibility that no longer feeds your spirit. Release the thing that’s pulling you into the black hole, leaving you depleted, frustrated, and exhausted. Starting TODAY, only do the extra things because you love them and recognize that the ROI is really worth waiting for!
Make it a strong day!
