Are You Ready to Come Back to Yourself?

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

“When we’re caught in a storm of emotions, we can practice to be like the trunk of a tree. We don’t stay up in the high branches. We go down to the trunk and stay still, not carried away by our thinking and emotions”
~ Ticht Nhat Hanh

This month has been filled with ups and downs; wins and losses; joys and fears (and maybe even the common cold). Do you find that to be true for you?

If so, practice grounding yourself like a massive tree. Focus on your breath. Watch your belly rise and fall. Concentrate on your core. Concentrate on your inhale and exhale. Concentrate on yourself. With each breath, imagine roots going deeper into the ground and stabilizing you. All is well.

Your goal for this week: Observe when you get caught up in the emotions of your day. Is it when you interact with a certain person? When you take responsibility for too many things? Or when you fail to exercise your body? When this occurs, use the grounding technique and then make a decision. How will you move forward?

Make it a strong day!
