You are a gift in my life!
Thank you for reading my words each week, for cheering me on, and for letting me into your busy lives – even for just a few minutes at a time. That time is precious, you are precious, and I’m deeply grateful for you.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about time…how I rush it, waste it, stretch it, and even steal it. How often I decide I’m “behind” only because I’m comparing my timeline to someone else’s highlight reel.
As my birthday approaches, I’m giving myself a gift: Sunday. Somewhere along the way, it got swallowed up by deadlines, drafts, and the tyranny of the to-do list. I stopped smelling the roast in the oven, stopped lingering over coffee, stopped making space for the people and rituals that fill me up.
I hope you’ll give yourself a similar gift. Maybe it’s a quiet hour on Sunday. A half-day off for no reason at all. Or saying “no” to the thing that drains you.
Because when we claim our time with intention, we create space for something bigger to grow. So, I’m saying goodbye for now and swapping my Sundays for family, faith, and food – like the good ol’ days when Sundays were for breathing, laughing, and second helpings.
Take Action: Give Yourself a “Permission Slip” to say no to something good to make space for something GREAT!
Make it a strong day!
