During the holiday season, we can really act so…adult. There’s no other word for it. Expectations, rules, schedules, pressed shirts, mind your manners, and no more sweets!
Oh, but sometimes, we need to see the magic happen through our innocent eyes. Drink in the warmth, soak up the love, dance with the excitement, and revel in the joy that is life this time of year. Let’s do our best to laugh at the cake that comes out lopsided, or the candy canes eaten off the tree, or the cookie crumbs left by the family dog, or the hand towels crumpled up on the floor…it’s that time of year, and we need to remember to laugh, let go, and enjoy it like we used to.
Remember to see through life’s chaos like a child studies a snow globe. It’s only beautiful when we shake it up!
