I Don’t Know

Ego hates vulnerability. Be vulnerable anyway. Ask for help. ~ Regina Carey

We work hard. We solve problems. We feel accomplished. Until we’re met with a challenge that feels overwhelming. No answers. No instincts. Now what?

Even the body posture of uncertainty is vulnerable – shoulders up to protect our carotid arteries and palms up, open to the elements. We don’t know. Imagine the sensation of someone putting his hands on our shoulders and gently squeezing to reassure us that we can relax. Or putting her hand in our hand and holding it to assure us that we are not alone? Asking for help looks and feels like compassion.

We are not alone. It’s okay to NOT have all the answers. Be open to asking for support this week. There is so much yet to learn. Start with learning how to ask for help.

Make it a strong day!
