“Don’t wish it were easier. Wish you were better.” ~ Jim Rohn
Each and every day, from the time I was eight years old, I walked to the piano and practiced. When the song sang back and not a mistake was made, I knew I was getting better. Perfect practice makes perfect.
Had I only a piano to walk to today – one thing that proved my own improvement! How do we know? The sale? The gig? The income? The evaluation? The hug from our happy child? Life holds many opportunities for us to “get better,” but it has become less about practicing and more about persistence; less about performing and more about growth. Are we who we imagined ourselves to be so long ago?
If not, what has to happen for noticeable improvement? What will you begin practicing today to get better at being you? So many options!
Make it a strong day!
