“Each time you say hello to a stranger, your heart acknowledges over and over again that we are all family.” ~ Suzy Kassem
Think about the number of times we have approached someone we thought was a store clerk, blurted out a question and been embarrassed to discover that they, in fact, did not work at the store. We often fail to recognize others because of our need for immediacy and this is slowly creating a society of disengaged humans.
We all need recognition; we want to feel like we matter. We can help one another by simply saying “Hello!” Take a breath, smile and greet another person before asking that question, requesting something of a colleague, or reminding a family member of a task that needs completed. It is so important to recognize that we are living together and we need to get better at it. Think about what a difference it would make in YOUR life. I see you, and I wish you well.
Make it a strong day!
