Waiting for the Lesson

Patience is not simply the ability to wait – it’s how we behave while we’re waiting. ~ Joyce Meyer

We are less willing to wait these days. Technology provides the immediacy of answers, directions, and information. Everything is at our fingertips…until it’s not. What happens when we are asked to wait?

Are we insulted? Do we fume? Become antsy? Hop on our phones? Watch the time? Shut the world out with headphones? Keep busy with a different task? We all have our methods of passing the time while we wait.

What if we trusted this period of time? Caught our breath? Paused? Practiced gratitude? What if we started to believe that waiting is a part of our journey and an opportunity to learn how to relax and accept our lives in the moment? Would we be more likely to see the gifts on the other side of the wait? Wait and see!

Make it a strong day!
