Today is a fabulous day! We start out fresh! We have a grand list of items to accomplish! We get to make a difference! But for some of us, Mondays are hard. It may take a bit of effort to get up and get going.
It may be reminiscent of doing chores as a child – ones that involve manual labor. Those became tiring after a very short while. We might remember our parents or grandparents cheering us on, “Use a little elbow grease!” Somehow we were always able to summon a bit more energy, strength, and passion to get the job done.
We have the skills, the know-how, and the strength to make our lives SHINE! Yes, it may take a little elbow grease and some encouragement from our friends and colleagues. No matter. Do what it takes to make yourself shine and recognize that when you do, you pass that light on to others who need it too.
