We live in a cult of the upgrade right now. There’s always something around the corner that will make whatever you think is cool right now feel obsolete. ~ Colin Trevorrow
New phones, thermostats, security cameras, car monitors, wireless this and that…it will not end. Ever. At what point do we stop upgrading our gadgets and begin upgrading our lives?
What in YOUR life has become obsolete? Beliefs about your intelligence? Patterns of behavior that are no longer serving you? A relationship? Your career? What you eat and drink? There are absolutely areas of our lives begging for attention, and, instead of listening to the “noise,” we buy stuff to distract ourselves.
This week’s challenge is to face one aspect of your life that requires immediate attention and take action on it! If the cell phone shattered, you’d be replacing it in a heartbeat. What’s broken in your life? Take one step toward upgrading it and feeling good in your own skin. Remember, it’s YOU who makes your life awesome – not your stuff. Go be awesome!
Make it a strong day!
