Not Enough Time?

Time is a created thing. To say ‘I don’t have time,’ is like saying, ‘I don’t want to.’ ~ Lao Tzu

How often do we tell people, “I don’t have time!” What are we saying when we rattle off that phrase? Because it’s not that we don’t have it. We ALL have it. How are we using it? Where are we putting our focus? Our energy? Our joy?

When we flail about, claiming we have no time and some life event happens – a loved one gets sick, there’s a car accident, a doctor’s appointment, a death – we certainly find the time. How do we do that? What does it take? Personally deciding what is most important. Society accepts the stoppage of time for death. It’s taking time to LIVE that’s not always so easily accepted.

Let’s start by making ourselves a priority. Take time to rejuvenate and do what is meaningful for our own health. It’s when we make our minds, bodies, and spirits a priority that we can really say we are using our time wisely.

Make it a strong day!
